Before I hired John McDonough, I was worried about my aging HVAC system. Would the AC quit during a heat wave? Would the heat stop on the coldest day of the winter? I didn’t have anybody I trusted to take care of these important systems. I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. When I met John it was obvious that he is very knowledgeable. He even teaches HVAC to other people! I felt lucky to have such an expert at my service. Another company had recommended a full check-up and basic maintenance of the systems, but I didn’t want to pay for something I didn’t need. John checked everything out himself at no cost, and recommended a thorough cleaning of the furnace and AC unit. Boy, that cleaning was dirty work. I was so grateful that he was willing to do this job. It was probably a coincidence, but the motor then quit. John diagnosed the problem and replaced the motor at cost of the motor only, which really impressed me with his professionalism. He juggled his schedule to get here right away because the house was really cooking in the July weather. I will always rely on John. If I want any changes or improvements, he will be the only one I call. More than satisfied with the job completed, I had additional bonus of having John keep me informed throughout the process.
